Pool Design Process

Bedrock Pool designers represent the most highly skilled and artistic people you could ever hope for. They are Passionate and dedicated people that love what they do! The design process is fun! We have broken down the process into steps so you can better understand the Bedrock approach.

Step 1. Getting to know you. Designing a pool is first about understanding your needs, even if you are not sure what they are. We do this by spending coming to your home and spending considerable time interviewing you. The more we know about your lifestyle, individual taste, type of entertainment, etc., the better. “Your” needs also means your kids, entire family, and pets.

Step 2. Evaluating your site. Placement of the pool within your yard is extremely important so we will take accurate measurements of fencing, structures, windows & doors and utility easements. Factors in the placement of your pool will include the maximum view from the windows of the house, location of trees & leaf shed factor, sun light, prevailing wind direction and overall yard usage. We approach your yard like an extension of your living space so we will not only design and place the pool within your yard but will also make sure you have enough space left for all of your other needs such as landscaping and play areas for your children, & pets.

Step 3. Discussion. At this point we will discuss all possible options and features. Generally, there are not too many options to talk about because we pride ourselves in offering fully equipped products with the best of everything available. By this time we will have created your exciting new backyard environment that you will absolutely fall in love with!

Step 4. Renderings. Now that we have gotten to know you and have evaluated your site, we are ready to start drafting a beautiful scale drawing in color. When possible, we like to design and draft together with you at the drafting table so we can get your input while the creative juices are flowing. Once the renderings and drafting have been completed, we will have created a back yard environment you will absolutely fall in love with!
